Kids learned about Elly Grin from CBC Kids News and want to know more about living on a boat

Remember Elly Grin?

She’s a kid from Ontario who is sailing around the world with her parents.

We spoke to Elly back in May about living on a boat.

She started her trip when she was five years old. She’s now 12.

Every summer, she returns to Emsdale, Ont., where her parents run a sports camp. (They work remotely from the boat the rest of the year.)

One of Elly Grin’s favourite memories was hiking with komodo dragons in Indonesia. (Submitted by Adam Grin)

Some students in Grade 5 and 6 at École des Vieux-Moulins in Saint-Hubert-de-Riviѐre-du-Loup, Que., saw her story on CBC Kids News and had questions for her.

They wanted to know things like how many languages she speaks and what happens when her boat breaks down.

So we got Elly to answer those questions.

Check out the video above to learn more about Elly and her adventures.
