112 million subs are the most for any individual creator

In case you missed it, MrBeast now has a bigger subscriber count on YouTube than PewDiePie.

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, hit the record for most subscribers for an individual creator.

His YouTube account reached 112 million subscribers on Nov. 16, according to metrics tracked by Social Blade.

PewDiePie — whose real name is Felix Kjellberg  —  held that title for almost 10 years.

He was the first individual creator to reach 100 million subscribers back in 2019 and since then he has added another 11 million subs.

But over the past few years, MrBeast has been getting closer. He tied PewDiePie on Nov. 11.

MrBeast 112 M subscribers. PewDiePie 111 M subscribers.

MrBeast known for big giveaways

MrBeast has gained his popularity with over-the-top and often expensive videos, where he regularly gives away hundreds of thousands of dollars.

When he reached 100 million subscribers in July, he celebrated the moment by having 100 subscribers compete to win a private island.

MrBeast isn’t the most subscribed to YouTube channel overall, though.

The top three spots are all taken up by brands or companies, with MrBeast sitting at No. 4.

The YouTube channel with the most subscribers is T-Series, an Indian music label, with 229 million.
