Williams Lake veteran will receive surprise award

Can you keep a secret? Tomorrow, Frederic Hjalmarson of Williams Lake will receive a high honour from the government of France - The National Order of the Legion of Honour.

It's for his efforts in the World War II and the  Battle of Normandy.

But Frederic has no idea it's coming.

His family has kept it secret.  They're going to surprise him at big family gathering in Williams lake tomorrow.

We spoke with Frederic's wife Jessie and their son Eric.
