Jesus Christ Superstar - Harbourfront Theatre

It's one of the most recognizable rock operas every written...with characters most people know. Jesus Christ Superstar opens on stage tonight at the Harbourfront Theatre. The musical is loosely based on the Gospels' account of the last week in the life of Jesus Christ with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. The Fandango Musical Players Inc is putting on the Summerside production and CBC's own Steve Bruce is playing the lead character, Jesus. He brought his tape recorder to a recent rehearsal.

Charlottetown Rural's Grease - The Musical

Grease is the word... it's got groove, it's got meaning. And the classic musical is on stage this week at the Confederation Centre. It's a performance from Charlottetown Rural high and Alexandra Smith, Aidan Gallant and director Richard Haines joins us in the studio.

The stage musical Grease is on stage this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Confederation Centre.

Charlie Brown - At the Guild

Charlie, Lucy, Linus, Sally, Schroeder and of course Snoopy will all be at the Guild starting this Friday. Lindsay Carroll dropped by the Steele rehearsal hall at UPEI for one of the rehearsals of 'Your a Good Man Charlie Brown'.

We meet cast members Brieonna Locche, Tyrell Witherspoon, Andrew German, David Light, Jessica Gallant and Noah MacDougall. The new artist collective called 'Head First Productions' includes two Island cast members and Island musical talent.
