Snazzier accommodations? At the recent Federation of Canadian Municipalities conference in Vancouver, Councillors from Summerside stayed at a luxury hotel while Councillors from Charlottetown stayed at a much more affordable hotel nearby. Kerry Campbell crunches some numbers for us, on who stayed where, and who spent what, and how much taxpayers were on the hook for. Renovations Underway For Salvation Army

The Salvation Army in Summerside is finally getting the expansion it's wanted for years - it's food bank, soup kitchen, church and family services will now be housed in one location.
