Summerside investing in two electric cars

Summerside is investing 90 thousand dollars in two electric cars for municipal workers. The city hopes the eco-friendly initiative will set a good example with residents... but it's just the first step. Julia Cook spoke with Deputy Mayor Bruce MacDougall and Bob Ashley, Summerside's CAO.

The first EarthShip on PEI

Jordan Cameron from Summerside is looking to build what he says is the first EarthShip on PEI... with a little help from his friends, and some recylced materials. An Earthship is a passive-solar house, made of recycled materials, which creates and conserves its own electricity, heat and clean water. Julia Cook spoke with Jordan Cameron.
