Harbourfront Theatre

It's one of the most recognizable rock operas every written...with characters most people know.  Jesus Christ Superstar opens on stage tonight at the Harbourfront Theatre. The musical is loosely based on the Gospels' account of the last week in the life of Jesus Christ with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. The Fandango Musical Players Inc is putting on the Summerside production and CBC's own Steve Bruce is playing the lead character, Jesus. He brought his tape recorder to a recent rehearsal.
