Male Survivor Project - Anonymous Survey

MaleSurvivorProject.jpgThe PEI Rape and Sexual Assault Centre is worried men on the Island who've been sexually abused aren't receiving treatment that could help. The Centre has launched an anonymous, online survey to try to learn more about the barriers that keep men from seeking help.

The survey is part of a bigger research project to provide more effective support for male victims. Island Morning's Kerry Campbell spoke with Sigrid Rolfe, the co-ordinator of the PEI Rape and Sexual Assault Centre. To participate in the survey, go to this website: peirsac.org or you can do the survey by phone by calling 1-866-566-1864. The survey runs until June 10th.
