ATVs, cyclists and hikers share trails in NS

ATVsPEI.jpgIn many provinces, including Nova Scotia, the trails are multi-use, and according to the ATV folks there. Everyone's getting along just fine. Barry Barnet, Executive Director of the ATV Association of Nova Scotia join us with his thoughts. He suggests PEI should not dismiss the economic benefits of allowing ATVs on the trails, given that campgrounds, hotels, restaurants and gas stations would benefit.

Government House Gardens

Gardeners.jpgThe Government House Gardens are viewed by thousands of people every year and have become a favourite for cruise ship passengers. Martin Duffy is the man who plants, cares and creates the gardens and he's been doing that for more than two decades. Ian Glass is the chair of the volunteer garden committee for Government House. Angela Walker met up with them to admire the flowers and to have a chat.

Zombie Movie - Director Fox Henderson

FoxHendersonZombies.jpgIf you give Fox Henderson some money to help finish his next film he'll give you the finger ... or the brain, or a zombie head. The Island filmmaker has come up with a new way to make up the funding he needs to bring Moonshine of the Damned to life.  He's using his website to sell off the props he's been making for the actors and outdoor sets. It takes a crowdfunding concept to new heights, selling off the products and keeping money freed up for Fox's next film adventure. Mitch met Fox Henderson at his home and special FX workshop in Hunter River.
