PEI Health Care Changes Phone-In and Reaction

PEI's Health Minister has been on the road a lot this week, trying to sell sweeping changes to health care in rural PEI. On Monday night, 200 people in Alberton had their say regarding his plan for hospitals in West Prince. Last night, Doug Currie addressed a large crowd in Souris.

Dr. Des Colohan is a pain specialist with an interest in health policy. Dr. Colohan agrees with the government that many acute care hospital beds are being taken up by people who really belong in long-term beds. He spoke with Matt Rainnie.
