Bring on the CanCon - Part 2

Is the Confederation Centre doing enough to meet it's mandate as a nationally-funded arts centre? Some people don't think so. Yesterday, we heard from a Nova Scotia playwright and director who's posted a petition demanding all foreign material be banished from the Charlottetown Festival. Well-known Comedian Lorne Elliott has signed that petition. Today, the head of UPEI's theatre program weighs in - Professor Greg Doran says he doesn't think the Charlottetown Festival would survive if it had to produce only Canadian musicals.
