From the start

ronbaker.JPGIn 1969 Ron Baker left a job researching the history of languages eventually taking on the post of president at the newly-created University of Prince Edward Island.

He had to break down the traditional lines between Roman Catholics and Protestants who went to separate schools in the province.

Last week Ron Baker was back in the province for the first time in decades to see what the campus looks like today.

He even stayed on campus and used the visit to catch up with some old friends.

He shared some stories with Mitch Cormier.
