If you're dying for a strawberry shortcake made with Prince Edward Island berries...well, you're going to be waiting another while yet. Berry growers say the cold weather has meant the season is at least two weeks late.
The Mount Edward Grocery sells fresh island produce in Charlottetown. We'll head there in a minute. But first we'll head to the Berry Patch in Tracadie Cross. The CBC's Julia Cook tip-toed through the field with owner Claude McCardle.
