Nature Conservancy looking to purchase P.E.I. land

percivalriver.JPG

Two significant areas in Prince Edward Island have been targeted for protection by the Nature Conservancy of Canada.

The first is the popular cottage and beach area of St. Peter's Harbour, and the second is the Percival River area which is pictured above.

The conservancy is in the midst of a fundraising effort to purchase 118 acres at St. Peters.

Andrew Holland and Julie Vasseur stopped into the studio to talk about the project.
