Pesticide Protest - Sharon Labchuk

A PEI environmentalist plans to break the law to prove a point by spreading non-toxic corn gluten on the lawn outside Province House. Sharon Labchuk says it's absurd that corn gluten - a legal livestock feed supplement - is on PEI's list of banned pesticides. She joined us in the Island Morning studio.

The first EarthShip on PEI

Jordan Cameron from Summerside is looking to build what he says is the first EarthShip on PEI... with a little help from his friends, and some recylced materials. An Earthship is a passive-solar house, made of recycled materials, which creates and conserves its own electricity, heat and clean water. Julia Cook spoke with Jordan Cameron.
