North Rustico's new sewage treatment facility

LesStandenNorthRusticoSewage.jpgNorth Rustico is building a new sewage treatment facility which far exceeds provincial requirements... and will mean a clean harbour for generations to come. The Town was received the premier's Excellence in Water Stewardship Award. Les Standen chairs the North Rustico sewer and water corporation. Lindsay Carroll hopped in Les's car to take a tour of the old facility...as well as the outdated lagoon system it's had for years.
