It was a busy week of music, events and parties. Last night the East Coast Music Awards Gala took place last night at the Charlottetown Convention Centre... and included some big Island winners. Here are some of the local ECMA winners. Julia Cook recaps the event and awards.

Lennie Gallant - Searching for Abegweit

David Miles - CBC Musical Heroes Concert

If you're getting a bit of cabin fever these days, you might want to take in the CBC "Musical Heroes" concert tomorrow night at the Delta in Charlottetown. It's all part of East Coast Music Week 2014. The lineup includes David Myles, Amelia Curran, Rose Cousins, and The Barra MacNeils... performing the songs of the musical heroes who influenced their careers. David Miles joins us to talk about the musician that influenced his career.
