Wild Salmon May Swim Again Up Penobscot River To New Brunswick

Three dams along the Penobscot River in Maine have been purchased in a $24-million-dollar deal. Shutting down the dams will open up more than one thousand miles of salmon habitat. The Penobscot is one of the largest salmon spawning rivers on the Eastern seaboard.
