SEASON 13 FAN EXTRAS DAY

This is a very important message to fans of Heartland who can be in the Calgary area on WEDNESDAY, JULY 17, 2019:
We truly believe Heartland fans are some of the best! We are currently filming Season 13 of Heartland, and would love to offer the opportunity for fans who may be in the Calgary area or willing to travel to the Calgary area to participate in an exciting scene. This is your opportunity to be part of the longest running Canadian TV drama in history!
We have done this now for the past seven years, and this year’s Season 13 episode will give you a special glimpse of what is to come this Fall.
We are going to need a crowd of hundreds on WEDNESDAY, JULY 17. It will be in the afternoon. Fans who wish to be a part of the event can register to be with the cast and crew that day and spend a few hours as part of a rodeo event crowd. Check-in will start at 1:00PM MT.
If you are interested in being a part of the scene, there are a few things you need to know in advance. Please read these before you RSVP to express your interest to attend.
1) Candidates will be chosen in the order of RSVP responses received. RSVP does not guarantee admission. Those accepted will be sent a confirmation email with additional details.

You MUST RSVP for EACH individual attending including name, email address, phone number and birth date. Your contact information will not be shared to any third party, and will only be referred to and used for RSVP purposes to the Heartland Fan Extras Day.
2) Babies and toddlers cannot be a part of this event, so production asks that you do not register or bring any children under the age of 6.
3) The scenes being filmed are at a unique rodeo competition – one that you will have never seen in previous seasons! If selected, you will be asked to dress accordingly, as if you were going to a rodeo event like Calgary Stampede. Wear your cowboy hats and western attire!
4) You will be asked to arrive in the afternoon – promptly at 1:00PM MT on Wednesday, July 17. The scenes to be shot will be over in a few hours and you will be wrapped by 6:00PM MT. It will be fun! Various cast and crew will address the crowd and you may even have a chance to meet your favourite Heartland actors!
5) The location is Southwest of Calgary (within one hour driving distance from Downtown Calgary). As soon as the required number has been reached production will notify those accepted. When contacted those accepted will receive additional details, such as detailed timing, location photo release to fill out, dos and don'ts and of a map to the set.
