Happy New Year Heartland fans!

The wait for new episodes will be over in a few days when, on Sunday, January 6, the 12th season of Heartland will premiere right here on CBC Television.

Here's a little bit about what you can expect in Sunday's NEW episode titled, "Dare to Dream"...

Amy (Amber Marshall) and Ty (Graham Wardle) face parenting problems, but healing a wild mare and her foal may help them find a solution. Meanwhile, Lou (Michelle Morgan) comes home with a big decision to make, but news about Mitch (Kevin McGarry) steals her focus. And Georgie (Alisha Newton) struggles to overcome past fears when she’s asked to do an interview for an equestrian magazine. Then, while Tim (Chris Potter) thinks about the next step in his relationship, Jack (Shaun Johnston) and Lisa (Jessica Steen) could face future problems in theirs.

The season 12 premiere was written by Heather Conkie and directed by Chris Potter. The first two episodes of the season began filming on May 31, 2018 at the Heartland ranch set in Millarville and concluded in the Heartland studio in Calgary on June 20.

"Dare to Dream" launches a very exciting new season of the longest running one-hour drama in Canadian television history. Everyone involved in its
production is excited and proud to have it shown to fans across Canada. We hope you will be watching with fans across Canada on Sunday.
