July 20 Heartland Auction Items

Talk about exciting. Tomorrow (Saturday, July 20) will see a live auction during the HEARTLANDERS FOR HIGH RIVER Fundraiser. [Click through for details about the auction]

There'll be a total of 11 (eleven, count 'em) lots, each of which is described in detail below each photo, along with (and this is important) the time the bidding will start.

Why is this important? Because anyone in North America has a chance to bid on these lots. Take a look at what is available and then at the bottom will be instructions on how you can bid, even if you are not there.

LOT 1 (at 12:25pm MT): The Delta Bow Valley Package.

This is a two night bed and breakfast stay in a signature club room at the Delta Bow Valley Hotel in Calgary, where many out of town cast and crew have stayed over the past 6 years. The lot includes an autographed Heartland script and a Season 6 poster autographed by the main cast of Heartland.

LOT 2 (at 12:30pm MT): The WestJet Package.

This consists of two return tickets anywhere WestJet (one of the carriers that production uses) flies (good for one year) plus a painting of horses and an autographed Season 6 Heartland poster.

LOT 3 (at 12:35pm MT): - The Georgie Character Package.

Each actor appearing at the fundraiser will have their own character lot. Alisha Newton, who plays Georgie, is first up. Her lot consists of a script signed by her, costumes she wore as Georgie (including that touque) and a 20 minute Skype conversation with Alisha in the future.

LOT 4 (at 12:40pm MT): A Sony Bravia R52 60 inch flat screen HDTV television.

What a great way to watch Heartland, no? The hats do not come with the TV, but there will be a Season 6 poster signed by all the main cast of Heartland. Not that you will have any wall space left after putting up the television. :D

LOT 5 (at 12:45pm MT): The Jack Bartlett Character Package.

Shaun Johnston has kindly donated his Takamine guitar, which was used to record the songs heard in Episode 506. It is personalized by Shaun himself by him accidentally backing up over it with his truck (Ouch!). Damaged but fixed and playable. The guitar has been autographed by all major cast. Also included is a 20 minute Skype conversation (one on one) with Shaun in the future.

LOT 6 (at 2:35pm MT) The Ty Borden Character Package.

This lot consists of a script signed by Graham Wardle, costumes he wore as Ty and a 20 minute Skype conversation with him (one on one) in the future.

LOT 7 (at 2:40pm MT): The Lou Fleming Character Package.

This lot consists of a personal script signed and annotated by Michelle Morgan, costumes she wore as Lou and a 20 minute Skype conversation (one on one) with her in the future).

LOT 8 (at 2:45pm MT): The Tim Fleming Character Package.

A script signed by Chris Potter, costumes he wore as Tim (Jeans, shirt, boots and a 'Time for Tim' apron) and a 20 minute one on one Skype conversation with Chris in the future.

LOT 9 (at 2:50pm MT): The Ranch Print Package

Rick Roberts is the award winning production designer who has been on Heartland since Season 1. This lot consists of two 18" x 24" prints of the Ranch and the Ranch House, drawn in 2007 by Rick, who has autographed both. A one of a kind lot for a fan of Heartland, suitable for framing.

LOT 10 (at 2:55pm MT): The Amy Character Package.

Here we have a script signed by Amber Marshall, costumes she wore as Amy, including the Promise Ring (!) and a 20 minute one on one Skype conversation with Amber in the future.

LOT 11 (at 3:00pm MT): The Come to the Ranch during Filming Package.

This is a Heartland Ranch Set Visit for a group of 6. Spend a full day on set watching Heartland being filmed. Have lunch with the cast and crew on the ranch and enjoy a full day on set while Heartland is in production. Includes a Season 6 full size poster, autographed by the cast.

If you are interested in bidding on any of the above lots, here is what you need to know.

1) Send an email to this address - HeartlandersForHighRiver@gmail.com

This has been set up only for this purpose; anything other than requests to bid will be deleted.

2) In the subject heading please type the lot number, followed by the maximum you would care to bid on that lot.

For example, if you were interested in lot 11 and felt you would pay $3,500 for it, type:

11, $3500

In the subject heading. Then,

3) In the body of the email please type in your name and a phone number where you may be reached so you can be a part of the auction.

4) For each lot, the top 3 bidders with the highest amount they would be willing to bid will be telephoned 10 minutes ahead off the time posted for the lot.

For example, staying with Lot 11, its posted auction time (in the description above) is 3:00pm MT, therefore the top 3 potential bidders will be called and screened at 2:50pm MT.

You will then be kept on the line and will be able to participate in the bidding, when the lot is auctioned by Wally the auctioneer.

If you are the successful bidder then payment arrangements will be made.

Please note the time listed is MT (Mountain Time) which you should consider when deciding to be a part of this.

When it is 3:00pm in Calgary (Mountain Time/MT) it is 2:00pm in Vancouver and Los Angeles, and 5:00pm in Toronto or New York).

The other thing you need to know is that every cent raised from this auction will go to the High River Disaster Relief Fund. Yep, every cent.

So if you bid, it is going to a most worthy cause.
