As a Halloween tradition many fans of Heartland love to watch the stand-alone episode from Season 3, titled The Haunting of Hanley Barn. Newer Heartland fans may not be aware of it so, since it is October 31, we've thought we would share some details about the episode, as well as some photos you may not have seen before.

This Halloween-themed episode was directed by Dean Bennett from a script written by Mark Haroun. In it, one of Amy's neighbors, Mr. Hanley, asks her to investigate some problems with the horses in his barn. Amy and Ty spend the night there to try and discover what is disturbing the horses. Past Heartland characters in the episode include Mallory, Ashley and Badger, and Caleb also makes an appearance.
