The list: Unravelling church secrets

In an investigation into clergy sexual abuse within the Roman Catholic Church in Canada, The Fifth Estate follows abuse survivors on their quest for accountability. They are demanding that church officials reveal secret files — information on who the abusers are or were, who knew about it and what was done.

In the United States, judicial investigations are exposing details of the church's secret archives there. More than 6,800 credibly accused clergy members have been identified by the church itself. And yet in Canada victims say there is no such list.
