Grand Council sets aside $2M for MoCreebec talks

Earlier this month the people of MoCreebec decided to drop their lawsuit against the Grand Council of the Crees. MoCreebec has been fighting for years against the 10-year clause, which prevents its members from getting benefits under the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement. But now the lawsuit is off the table, and negotiations are back on. To find out more about the Grand Council's plans, Betsy Longchap spoke with Bill Namagoose, executive director of the Cree Regional Authority/ Grand Council of the Crees.
