Head of CREE critical of Val d'Or

The president of Cree Regional Events & Entertainment (CREE) says Val d'Or needs to do more to make Crees feel welcome. The town is main location for many Cree events, conferences and tournaments. Gloria Jolly says Val d'Or isn't doing enough to support the events, like a golf tournament held there in early September.

David's Journey arrives back in Montreal

Cancer survivor David Coonishish recently ended his latest journey, rollerblading close to 5 thousand kilometres from Montreal through Eyou Istchee. The goal of "David's Journey" was to raise money to support families of people who have been diagnosed with cancer. A group of supporters was waiting at the Espresso Hotel in Montreal, where many Cree patients stay, to welcome him home. Joshua Loon was amoung them.
