Wave of warm weather sweeps Eyou Istchee

Record high temperatures moved into Quebec - and Eyou Istchee - in mid-March. The geese are already making their way north. If the warm weather stays, some people are concerned about the impact it could have on the spring Goose Break. Roderick Rabbitskin spoke with Fred Tomatuk from Eastmain, who is watching the weather closely.

Davey Bobbish elected chief of Chisasibi

Chisasibi has a new chief - Davey Bobbish. An election was held on March 8th to choose a replacement for Abraham Rupert, who resigned for health reasons. Roderick Rabbitskin spoke with Bobbish the day after his election.

Romeo explains why he's choosing Mulcair

Romeo Saganash says Thomas Mulcair is the best choice to lead the New Democratic Party. Saganash dropped out of the race to replace Jack Layton in February, citing family reasons and a lack of campaign financing. The MP for the Quebec riding of Abitibi-Baie-James-Nunavik-Eeyou is throwing his support behind Mulcair. Melissa Natachequan spoke to him about his choice.
