First Cree court house to open in Mistissini

Court houses are being built in all the Cree communities, and the first one will be inaugurated in Mistissini on Monday January 31st. Many guests will attend this historic event. Roderick Rabbitskin spoke with Deputy Grand Chief Ashley Iserhoff about plans for the opening ceremony.

Cold temperatures crack roads, move houses

These days we have seen extremely frigid temperatures in Eeyou Istchee. It was so cold that some people in Whapmagoostui felt their houses move. The roads also cracked and with the wind chill it was minus 50. Roderick Rabbitskin spoke with Ron Sheshamush about what the frost quake felt like.

Men's Corner: Helping to save others' marriages

Today more and more Cree couples are separating, and sometimes it is the children who suffer the most. In recent years, some couples have taken training and are now helping others to keep their marriages together. Roderick Rabbitskin spoke with Noah Coonishish of Mistissini about what he does to help others throughout Eeyou Istchee.
