James Bay creates big buzz at mining conference

The agenda for Quebec Exploration 2010 is full of references to James Bay and Northern Quebec. Eeyou Istchee is one of the hottest places for mining development these days. Jack Blacksmith of the Cree Mineral Exploration Board gave a presentation at the conference and then spoke about it with Roderick Rabbitskin.

Cree learns money management at symposium

Today, more and more aboriginal groups have signed agreements with governments. With these monies coming in, they are doing their best to keep their money safe and plan for the future. The First Nations Trust Symposium took place in Ottawa in late November to help Aboriginal people with their long-term financial planning. Roderick Rabbitskin spoke with Bertie Wapachee, who took part in the symposium.
