Ecofiscal Commission

Chris Ragan is the chair of Canada's Ecofiscal Commission and Trevor McCleod is with the Canada West Foundation. The Ecofiscal Commission boasts some big names including Preston Manning and former Prime Minister Paul Martin. The Commission views the jobs versus the environment argument over the oilsands as a false choice, and they want to develop a strategy that will appease both the energy sector and the environmental groups.
