David Chilton: “Being a Dragon was truly one of the best experiences of my life”

It's with a heavy heart that we announce that David Chilton is leaving Dragons' Den after three great seasons. David wants to focus more time on new opportunities, including continuing to work with the partnerships he's made on the show.

David explains:

"Being a Dragon was truly one of the best experiences of my life. I learned an incredible amount from the other Dragons and even more from the true stars of the show — the pitchers. I'm thrilled I've been able to close so many deals and, though they've worked out well financially, the best part has been the new friendships with all my partners. I'll remain the show's biggest fan!"

David joined the show back in our seventh season, replacing former Dragon Robert Herjavec. In that time he's closed 22 deals, all of which he's very personally involved with.

His unique blend of charm, wit and business savvy has been a massive contribution to the show, and we wish David nothing but the best in his future endeavours.
