Montrealer nominated for Man Booker Prize

josip_novakovich_220.jpgMontreal-based writer and creative writing instructor at Concordia University, Josip Novakovich, is among 10 finalists for the Man Booker International Prize for fiction. A list of mostly unknown writers was announced Thursday for the £60,000 ($94,950) prize, which is given for a body of work. Last year, Novakovich wrote an original short story for Canada Writes.
