Tremblay named in testimony

A former organizer for the mayor's party told the Charbonneau commission that Tremblay's Union Montreal party kept two sets of books. An official one where everything was within spending limits. Another one that kept track of illegal donations and the real spending. Martin Dumont told the commission Mayor Tremblay was in the room when the existence of illegal books was revealed. Columnist Yves Boisvert from La Presse and former Liberal Minister Jean Cournoyer give us their reaction.

City councillor quits mayor's party

frantz benjamin.jpgCity councillor Frantz Benjamin has resigned from mayor Gérald Tremblay's Union Montreal party. This follows ongoing allegations of corruption revealed during testimony at the Charbonneau Commission. Benjamin remains city councillor for St-Michel.
