Couple fights for leave for parents dealing with prenatal mortalities

Marie Pierre Dubé and Kunthy Chhim were expecting the birth of their first child in January.
Instead they had to live through the unthinkable: The death of their baby, just a few days before Marie-Pierre was due to give birth.
Under Quebec law, Marie Pierre got 18 weeks of maternity leave to try and cope with her loss.
But her husband Kunthy was expected to go back to work immediately.The two decided to launch a petition so that fathers and mothers have the same rights when it comes to parental leaves and prenatal mortality.
