Three Montreal orthodox rabbis are calling for more acceptance of homosexuals. The rabbis have joined more than 150 others from Israel, the US and Canada in signing a statement called "Principles on the Place of Jews with a Homosexual Orientation in Our Community." Daybreak spoke to Adam Scheier, rabbi of the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim in Westmount, and to David Brody, who is gay, and attends Rabbi Scheier's synagogue, about the statement.
