Fogo's Sarah Greene - The Province's Newest Loran Scholar

Nearly four thousand of the nation's top high school students apply, but only thirty are chosen. This year's Loren Scholars were announced earlier this week. The prestigious prize awards successful applicants up to $80, 000 dollars to pay for a four-year university program.

Sarah Greene is from Tilting on Fogo Island and is one of those receiving the scholarship for this year.
