Nick Chan is one of the founding members of the FOB or Fresh Off the Boat -- gang.

Chan's charges also include two counts of first-degree murder.
Hans (Jay) Eastgaard is another founding member of the FOB.
In statements, Eastgaard said he met Nick Chan and his brother Tim, while in his late teens.
The enforcer of the gang, Eastgaard has admitted being involved in three killings, but will not spend any time in jail because of information he gave to investigators about other gang members.
Tim Chan is Nicks younger brother. Along with Hans Eastgaard, Tim used to run errands for his brother. Eventually, Eastgaard and Tim started their own dial-a-dope cocaine business.
Chan is part of the group charged in the Calgary polices Operation Desino in late July, and faces a murder charge.
There is a warrant out for his arrest.
Nathan Zuccherato was found guilty of first-degree murder in relation to the New Years Day 2009 triple killings.
That conviction was overturned after it was revealed that the Crowns key witness, M.M., told RCMP after being arrested for drinking and driving that he had committed the murders himself. He is currently awaiting a new trial in relation to that case.
As of late July, Zuccherato is also facing additional charges in the 2008 slayings of Kevin Ses and his girlfriend Tina Kong and the drive-by shooting death of Kevin Anaya.
Michael Roberto was also found guilty of first-degree murder in the New Years Day slayings.
His conviction was also overturned.
Roberto pleaded to reduced charges in July and will receive partial immunity in return for testifying.
The high-ranking FOB member is charged in the 2008 death of Kevin Anaya, and was recently charged in connection with the New Years Day deaths.
He has also been charged with participating in a criminal organization.
The FOB member was one of the men convicted of first-degree murder in the deaths of Sanjeev Mann, Aaron Bendle and Keni Sua.
Real Honorio has appealed and is now awaiting a decision. In a police sting, Honorio confessed details about the New Years Day triple-murders, which was a key part of the evidence which led to the conviction of Honorio and others.
