Lions Festival of Lights Opening Night Celebration

CBC Calgary is once again proud to be one of the presenting sponsors of the Lions Festival of Lights, the largest FREE drive-by Christmas Lights showcase in Calgary.

Join CBC News Calgary's Rob Brown and Rosa Marchitelli and special guests as we officially kick off one of Calgary's largest holiday light displays.


We've also got word from our reporters in the North Pole that Santa Claus is planning on dropping by along with Mrs. Claus to take part in the festivities.


Made up of over 101,000 lights along 14 th St NW, this Calgary holiday tradition.

The Lions Festival of Lights is conveniently located in Confederation Park in NW Calgary. The display can be viewed along 14 St NW, South of 24 Avenue. MAP

The Lions Festival of Lights runs nightly from 6 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, November 30 until January 8, 2014
