StoryNet: Teachers

StoryNet Skip the horse.jpgIn this week's StoryNet feature, Dwane Wilkin introduced us to two retired school teachers. Lillian Evans Parkison, 89, grew up on a farm near Arundel in the Laurentians, and Joy Thompson Nugent, 90, who is from near Kinnear's Mills in the Chaudière-Appalaches. From different parts of the province, both ended up, like thousands of other anglophones, learning about teaching at MacDonald College, near Montreal.  We also heard about Skip the horse!
