Mylène Paquette's boat "Hermel" to be on permanent display in Sept-Iles
Mylène Paquette is the first North American woman to row solo across the North Atlantic. Last year, she spent 129 days at sea, from Halifax to the port of Lorient in France. Breakaway followed her on that journey, speaking with her several times from her little yellow boat, the Hermel. Today, its permanent home was announced: Sept-Iles. Mylène Paquette joined Elias with the details.

BookFest at Flemming Elementary
It is BookFest this week on the Gaspe Coast and the Magdalen Islands. The annual celebration of reading and literacy continues through the weekend, to Sunday, April 28. Sept-Iles Students in Quebec City

It took a massive ($10,000) fundraising effort, a 9-hour bus ride, and a whole lot of patience - but the students from Flemming Elementary think it was definitely worth it. Thirty-two students from the grade 4 and 5 classes have been in Quebec City since Monday on a very special field trip. Since then, they've visited historic sites in and around the city. Breakaway's Julia Caron met up with them as their bus pulled up in front of the Armoury.
