A new institute to safeguard Cree culture

Up until now, the James Bay Cree didn't have a place designated to celebrate, preserve and teach their culture. But just a few months ago, a Cultural Institute was opened in Oujé-Bougoumou. The state of the art building is part museum, part library and part workshop. The CBC's Marika Wheeler visited the center last week and spoke with the center's director, Sarah Pashagumskum.
