Abercorn's Tricot Graffiti yarnbombers

tricot.jpgMost graffiti is seen as a city curse, a scar on our neighbourhoods. But a gentler form of street art is starting to replace aerosol cans. It's often called "yarnbombing," and it's taking the Townships by storm. Jacquie Czernin met with fibre artists Lise Goad and Daniela Pellis, who decided to clothe the little red schoolhouse in Abercorn. They are the initiators of Tricot Graffiti, and they shared their unexpected success story with Jacquie.
