Vivek Shraya publishing 2nd novel, The Subtweet, in April 2020
The musician and writer announced the arrival of her next book on Twitter.

The book centres around two musicians, Neela Devaki and Rukmini, whose friendship is tested when one's career skyrockets while the other's stagnates. One tweet triggers a media storm.
Shraya has previously written acclaimed nonfiction, I'm Afraid of Men, poetry, even this page is white, a graphic novel, Death Threat, novel She of the Mountains and picture book, The Boy & the Bindi.
She's also working on an essay collection called Armour, about fashion, race and gender, to be released in 2021.
Shraya is an assistant professor at the University of Calgary.
