Sheena Kamal is a Vancouver, B.C.-based writer of crime novels. Her book The Lost Ones recently won the 2018 Kobo Emerging Writer Prize in the mystery category and was praised by judge Linwood Barclay for deftly casting "a critical eye on Vancouver's societal dysfunction, racism and poverty."

Her latest novel is called It All Falls Down and follows The Lost Ones' protagonist, Nora Watts, as she investigates her father's death by suicide.
