Klee Wyck, first published in 1941, is a collection of 21 sketches that document Emily Carr's experiences with British Columbia's Indigenous people. It won the Governor General's Literary Award that same year. The title Klee Wyck originated from the nickname given to Carr by one of the Indigenous communities she befriended at Ucluelet.
