Jean Little is a children's writer who has written over 50 books.

Jean Little is a distinguished writer of Canadian children's literature and has published over 50 books, including Dancing Through the Snow, Mama's Going to Buy You a Mockingbird, From Anna and Orphan at My Door. She is a member of the Order of Canada, recipient of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal and has been nominated numerous times for the prestigious Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. Born with scarred corneas that severely limit her vision, Little writes with a voice-activated computer. She lives in Guelph, Ont.
