We're building the biggest, best list of must-read books from 2017 — and we want to hear from you!

What was YOUR favourite book this year? Tell us know by tweeting @cbcbooks, commenting on our Facebook page, sharing on Instagramemailing or comment below. We'll include your recommendation on our list of 2017's must-read books.

Send us your submission by Friday, Dec. 15, 2017. We'll publish the list before we ring in 2018!

We're also asking Canadian authors for their favourite reads of 2017. Michael Redhill chose A Reckoning by Linda Spalding, Barbara Gowdy chose The Nightingale Won't Let You Sleep by Steven Heighton and Leanne Betasamosake Simpson chose Billy-Ray Belcourt's This Wound is a World. We're publishing a new recommendation every day on CBC Books, so stay tuned.

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.

By submitting a comment, you accept that CBC has the right to reproduce and publish that comment in whole or in part, in any manner CBC chooses.
