Ali Hassan is the host of Canada Reads. He hosted the program for the first time in 2017. 

Canada Reads 2022 took place March 28-31, 2022. The debates were broadcast on CBC Radio One, CBC TV, CBC Gem and on CBC Books. 

About Ali Hassan

Ali Hassan is an actor, comedian, host of CBC Radio's Laugh Out Loud and frequent guest host of Q and As It Happens. He can also be seen in his recurring roles on Run the Burbs (CBC), Odd Squad (PBS Kids) and Working Moms (CBC). In fall 2019, Hassan was part of the cross-country Just for Laughs Comedy Night in Canada tour with Rick Mercer.
