Annabel Lyon is a Vancouver-based author. Lyon debuted with a short story collection entitled Oxygen in 2000. Her novel The Golden Mean won the Rogers Writers' Trust Fiction Prize, was shortlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and the Governor General's Literary Award for fiction.

She is also the author of a book of novellas The Best Thing for You and two young adult novels, All-Season Edie and Encore Edie.
