More than half a million Grade 1 students across Canada will be receiving copies of Andrea Lynn Beck's book Good Morning, Canada as part of the TD Grade One Book Giveaway.
The giveaway is Canada's largest free book distribution program, and is celebrating its 18th year in 2017.

This year's selected title is a cheerful picture book featuring bright scenes and changing seasons across the country — from a pair of moose spied through an open tent flap at sunrise, to a gaggle of Canada geese at a school bus stop.

Previous selections include Small Saul by Ashley Spires, Boy Soup by Loris Lesynski and illustrated by  Michael Martchenko and Alligator Stew by Dennis Lee.

Andrea Lynn Beck will be travelling to communities in Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto to take part in live readings with local kids.
