In the same way the fictional movie character Amélie unwittingly involved her neighbours in a whimsical project that brought them all together, so does Patsy Van Roost in her Mile End neighbourhood in Montreal.
Inspired by a children's book about a lonely girl, Van Roost has been bringing strangers together by publicly posting excerpts of her writing that take them on scavenger hunts through her neighbourhood's streets.
